After a gap of more than 8 years,
once again a great chance was given
to the SIP Alumni settled in and around
Coimbatore to gather for a Family Meet.
It was held in a small multipurpose hall, ‘Thamizhaga Boyer Munnetra Sangam’, Tatabad, Coimbatore.

Mr. K. R. Natarajan (1967),
Mr. R. Rajagopalan (1967) - Chennai,
Mr. S. Jega Rajan (1979) - Chennai,
Mr. S. Kailasam (1979),
Mr. K. Kanagasabapathy (1979),
Mr. S. Swaminathan (1980),
Mr. S. John Ponnudurai (1981),
Mr. G. Michael Raj (1981),
Mr. L. Bala Subramanian (1990) - Bangalore,
Mr. J. Maria Jesu Raja (1990),
Mr. V. Sivakumar (1990) - New Delhi,
Mr. S. V. Sivaraj (1990) - New Delhi,
Mr. B. Thirumalai (1990) – Chennai and
Mr. M. Seenivasan (2004)

- few of them with their family members -
- the total participants were more than 38 -

gathered and exchanged their previous experiences from the college life and beyond.
The meet gave an opportunity for everyone to mingle with their friends after a very long time.

SIP Friends, Mr. V. Sivakumar (1990) and
Mr. S. V. Sivaraj (1990)
- the business partners -
who came all the way down from New Delhi for this meet,
shared their experiences about
their own engineering business in turbine maintenance.
Its phenomenal growth raised everyone’s eyebrows in an instant.
Mr. S. Swaminathan (1980),
involved in Elevator and Escalator business,
recalled his life from his childhood
till today’s achievement.
He expressed his gratitude to SIP
which gave him the knowledge and confidence.
Some of our friends expressed their desire
to provide job opportunities to fellow SIP Friends,
while some offered to provide products and
services at minimal profit exclusively for SIP Friends.
The big-heartedness of these friends
was greatly appreciated.
As usual, we all recollected
our Alma Mater, the great SIP,
where we were enriched and
we raised our collars
to a prosperous life and future.
Mr. Jega Rajan thanked
Mr. Natarajan (1967)
who took lot of initiatives
to restart the Coimbatore meet and
also shared his views
to the participants about our
‘SIP Friends Welfare Trust’.
.....
And coincidentally, it was the feast of the Mums - ‘Mother’s Day’.
All mothers in the gathering were gifted by their kids with mementoes.
A special dinner was organized and
enjoyed by everyone along with
the taste of friendship meet.
Many alumni voluntary contributed
donations for the ‘SIP Friends Welfare Trust’.

When we meet old friends and
our collage mates,
in different age groups,
it is really a wonderful episode in our life.

It tempts everyone to make chance
to meet again and again.
